This story follows several people through their lives and loves， but they all become intertwined in the end。 This was a story of romance， loss， mystery， friendship， and finding hope again。 I wasn’t sure what to expect with this story， and I have to admit I didn’t know where it was heading at first。 I ended up thoroughly enjoying it， and the twists and turns along the way！ I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review。

I've never read a Julianne MacLean book before， but she is an author I will definitely seek out in the future。 I absolutely LOVED Beyond the Moonlit Sea。 It is nothing like what I expected， but that's OK。 It's fun to be surprised and intrigued。The synopsis said it is about a woman named Olivia Hamilton whose husband， Dean， goes missing around the Bermuda Triangle in a plane he was piloting alone。 True。 It also said there was a woman named Melanie Brown， a student doing a dissertation on why plan I've never read a Julianne MacLean book before， but she is an author I will definitely seek out in the future。 I absolutely LOVED Beyond the Moonlit Sea。 It is nothing like what I expected， but that's OK。 It's fun to be surprised and intrigued。The synopsis said it is about a woman named Olivia Hamilton whose husband， Dean， goes missing around the Bermuda Triangle in a plane he was piloting alone。 True。 It also said there was a woman named Melanie Brown， a student doing a dissertation on why planes disappear in that section of the ocean。 Also true。 I knew these women's paths would eventually intertwine， which they do， but not all at like I initially guessed。This novel has the mystery， romance， high-quality writing， and momentum of The Last Thing He Told Me， by Laura Dave， which is one of the highest compliments I can offer。 I could NOT put it down。 Many plots have multiple points of view from different characters， but this one did it expertly， allowing the reader to see inside the minds of Olivia， Dean， and Melanie。 By doing so we are reminded that sometimes our circumstances are the results of our own choices and sometimes by the choices of others。 We also get a glimpse of the three main characters' motivations and inner turmoil over several years。Beyond the Moonlit Sea is a winner and one of the best novels I've read this year。 Thank you to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for the advanced copy。 。。。more

This is the first book that I have read by this author and it wont be the last， I relly liked it。 A quick， easy read that started off as a slow burn but increased in pacing as the tension in the plot increased。 Suspenseful， secrets and drama combined with twists and unpredictability。 A really good read。

This will keep you reading because it is intriguing， mysterious， and just captured my attention from the start。 Who is Dean？ Julianne MacLean， tells us his story， and it is interesting not only learning but figuring out who， he really is。 As I thought I had Dean figured out， I had to say， no way。 Then comes something else。 I received an ARC from Lake Union Publishing through NetGalley。

I love Ms。 Maclean’s writing style。 Her last several stand alone books were powerful and gripping。 “Beyond the Moonlit Sea” did not disappoint。 The story line took place over a couple of decades and the chapters took the reader back and forth。 I found the main characters intriguing; the author created personalities that truly fit the roles they played。 I was shocked and taken back by several incidents that made the story absolutely brilliant！ I loved how the lives of the main characters intertwi I love Ms。 Maclean’s writing style。 Her last several stand alone books were powerful and gripping。 “Beyond the Moonlit Sea” did not disappoint。 The story line took place over a couple of decades and the chapters took the reader back and forth。 I found the main characters intriguing; the author created personalities that truly fit the roles they played。 I was shocked and taken back by several incidents that made the story absolutely brilliant！ I loved how the lives of the main characters intertwined in such an unexpected way。 Now I was totally immersed。 Ms。 Maclean was able to capture undeniably how fear and confusing thoughts can lead to irrational behaviour that can cost you a life of pain， dread and agony。 There were a number of ways Ms。 Maclean could have resolved and concluded this story。 I was sure she was going to go down a certain path and to my surprise she did not！ However it made me question “Timing” What if one of the main characters had waited and not fall into the unforeseen trap？ What if the other main characters had waited？ I am sure things would have turned out differently for them。 But I guess then there would be no story…。。 This is a thought provoking book， it is a must read。 I give it 5 stars。 。。。more
